This course provided extremely valuable information that I would never have considered if not for Margaret’s teaching. The delayed impact of head injuries was a real lightbulb moment for me. We often only watch for immediate symptoms after a child bumps their head, but this course showed me why ongoing observation is crucial. I wish this knowledge was more widely available.
It also highlighted how deeply an adult’s emotional health influences a child’s mental well-being, attachment styles, and even their future. The discussion on how societal expectations of parental roles can distort the way children are raised was equally eye-opening. Even patterns I noticed in my brothers’ children, like their eating habits, now make sense; I would have never guessed they could be linked to anxiety.
From a coaching perspective, this course was invaluable. It broadened my understanding of how anxiety, chronic stress, and the often-overlooked effects of concussions impact families. These insights will significantly enhance the way I support my clients.
How did the course meet your expectations?
